Dori/Cording Embroidery

Dori embroidery, also known as cord embroidery, corded embroidery and cord work, uses twisted cords and speciality threads to create raised, textured and dimensional designs on fabric. Our collection includes floral, botanical and geometric motifs with fine cord detailing, curved outlines and decorative textures.

Our Dori embroidery designs include floral patterns, scrolling vines, leaves, geometric motifs, ornamental borders and placement designs. These can be developed as all-over patterns, border embroidery, neckline and sleeve detailing, or larger statement motifs, with different cord weights and densities depending on the desired finish.

The collection brings together traditional Dori work and contemporary cord embroidery for fashion garments, dresses, denim, occasion wear and export collections.
